Solution: QTP for BPT Add-in can’t be installed

The installer complains:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Run-time Components is missing on this machine. Please install all prerequisites and run this installation again.
Trying to download and install Visual C++ 2005 SP1 won’t work.
Screenshots on Virtual XP:

Screenshots on Windows 7:
Note that multiple versions of required component “Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x64)” has been installed while the installer still complains it is missing.
The solution is this particular version of the “Microsoft Visual C++ 2005” should be installed:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable 8.0.59193
When trying to download from Microsoft Download Center, the site does not show the version number. Therefore
I had to try different versions from other websites by googling.
After numerous versions trying, finally the  particular version was identified. That is why I hate Mercury’s stuff. You have to spend lots of time for this kind of stupid things instead of being productive.
